I only wear Skechers sneakers...But I am a Corrections Officer in a Prison and we are required to wear appropriate boots. I purchased the shape-up work shoe since they do resemble boots and put all the walking around I do on an eight hour shift to even better use. The only thing I would recommend would be making them into a high top so that they provide a little more support to the ankles especially for people who are on their feet eight hours at a shot.
