I teach high school, and wear these shoes every day to work. I've worn Skechers for years. I recently had a different model of Skechers that squeaked really bad, and one of the pair, but not the other, fell apart in about 8 months. This new pair doesn't squeak, and feels more durable.

Since I just bought these shoes, I can't rate them any higher or lower than what I have. The last pair I bought (Alley Cats), didn't last too long (4-5 months) before the finish was cracking and peeling. I bought these in hope that the finish won't do the same since it's a smooth polished leather or oiled leather upper. So "let's see" if these last as long as my previous pair I bought 3 years ago.
