The only negative to the shoe is the shoelaces come undone very easily, even when double knotted. The shoeslaces feel like there is a plastis coating that makes it so we have to retie my sons shoes a few times a day.

We purchased these for my son for school. At the end of week three the lining is ruined. You can feel the hard bottom of the shoe and it is bunched up, etc. at his toe. Additionally, they are very worn already. The toe is separating.
