Conswater can leak between body of boot and tongue.

These boots are comfortable, warm, and nice looking.
They do repel water so long as the water stays below the tongue of the boot. There is a gap between the tongue and the body of the boot that water will get into. It is higher on the foot though. So long as you are not wading in water they do not leak. My two girls love them.

Great boots!

These boots are both very stylish and practical. They are lace up, which I love because zippers break too easily. They also have good arch support and grip. I haven't been able to test them out for how warm they are, since it is not yet winter, but they have fur lining and insulation, and seem like they would do a good job keeping the frostbite from my toes.
