The soles are really hard with no cushion. The material used lacks the quality of better man-made material used as a replacement for leather. But, for the price, put some insoles in them.

I have been searching for a new pair of boots for over a year now. I had a previous pair that I loved and wanted to buy another pair of. I purchased them from Famous Footwear as well. However, when it was time to retire the pair I had, I found that Famous Footwear no longer carried the brand any longer. Nickels came out with this boot and it is overall the exact same boot as my last pair. The only difference being the brand, the zipper, and that it has an elastic stretch in the top. I love this pair of boots just as much as my last pair and would highly recommend them to everyone! They never hurt my feet and I can wear them with a suit or with a pair of jeans. They are well worth the full price so the sale price just makes them even better!

i wear these boots from 8 - 10 hrs a day and when i do i get compliment after compliment. They are very comfortable as well, i even bought a second pair.
