I was specifically looking for comfortable, feminine, and fashionable shoes to wear with skirts. I can't wear a "high" heel, which made many styles unacceptable. Earth Origins Women's Beau met all of my criteria! These shoes are cute AND comfortable! I broke them in by wearing them to a church fellowship. I was on the serving committee, and was required to walk back and forth (hurriedly) making sure that all of the dishes were full...back and forth numerous times in the space of 3 hours. Talk about the acid test!!! My feet and my back suffered no negative consequences from this rigorous activity. In fact, I felt great. I'm extremely grateful for this excellent product ! With the low heel on these, I can walk around the office all day and have no sore feet! These are not slip-ons, velcro strap must be opened and closed every time, which allows for a nice snug fit.
