Where did the quality go?

I have worn these as my every day shoes for the last 10 years. My first pair lasted me 6 years and I still have them, they are still wearable. My second pair lasted about 3 1/2 years. I wore them until there were holes in the soles, making them unwearable. Nothing changed with how I wore them. My current pair I have had for less than 6 months and the insole already has a hole near the ball of my foot. I have a desk job, I don't abuse them, and they are falling apart. Sadly, I may have to find a new go to shoe. Price up, quality down. It's unfortunate that Converse fell into that motto.

Felt great from the moment I tried them on! Still fitting brand new and comfortable after multiple wears! Considering for daily wear!
