Super Disappointed

My old pair of converse is starting to wear out after who knows how many years of wearing them (probably close to 10). Went to the mall to look at a new pair, and was super disappointed. The entire shape of the shoe has been changed, the toe is not the same shape anymore, and the overall look of the shoe is much wider and chunkier than it used to be. Also really disappointed in the quality. Having a pair on for just a minute or two, I could feel the "cheapness" of the materials and the overall feel of the shoe just wasn't right. I had read some recent reviews and expected them to be a bit different, but not so different that I'd have to turn them down. I've been wearing converse for 15+ years and I'm really sad that I'm probably not going to get another pair unless the quality and shape of the shoe goes back to what it used to be. Really disappointing when brands "fix" things that aren't broken just to pad their profit margins.
