They need more arch support. The style is classic and cute but could be more comfortable. I did follow their advice to size down and that was the correct fit.
The style is classic and super cute. I have high arches and they would be more comfortable if they had more support. They seem more lightweight than ones I have had for years. I did size down per their instructions and they fit well.

I have wide and flat feet. I wear Vans 8.5 women but in the Converse I wear women's 7.5 wide. I was excited to find they are now in wide. I bought an 8.5 wide women's but they were big so I went to an 8 wide still big. I reorder and got the 7.5 wide women and they fit great. I have always loved how Converse looked but couldn't wear them because they were narrow. I'm so happy with them and they are comfortable for my flat wide feet.
