I couldn't bring my self to fork out the same amount of money for a pair of uninsulated, everyone has a pair, rubber rain boots again this year. These boots are water proof, and are insulated with some snazzy technology so my feet don't freeze like they did in my galoshes. Yippee for being the first in a new wave of fashion! Function, warmth and a little bit of pazazz with the cute buckle detail.

Boot looked better than expected. I bought it for my daughter(big feet for 13yr old) to play outside in and they look good enough to wear to school on real snowy days.
