Great boot, but too wide of shaft

I was really excited to get these boots, they were a great deal and excellent quality. I have wider, athletic calves and I sometimes some boots are a little too tight in the calves so I was really glad they were wide shaft....but when I got them they were much wider than I expected! I ended up sending them back because they were so wide it looked funny with tights and a dress. Other than that, they were great quality, true to size and comfortable. I will be ordering them in the regular calf size now!
