Way too narrow

Normally wear a medium and I only wear a wide shoe for work as I stand on my feet all day (kitchen environment, concrete floors) and usually wear a somewhat thick sock. Received them today via mail and put them on and they feel like a medium, NOT a wide, even with a thin sock. They are extremely tight on my feet. Will be returning them to the store today (out the shipping fee as it's not refundable). I usually buy the Skechers Softie and they are perfect, but thought I'd try Dr. Scholls for a change. I will be going back to my Skechers, which are wide! Very disappointed.

These shoes function on every purpose they pose to serve; no slip, simple look, easy to keep clean and neat. The best part by far is the comfort. Included in the sole of the shoe are permanent support/insoles that provide constant comfort even after hours of use.
Recommended to many friends and coworkers.
