Sandals are fab, but for the weird soles

I love the fit, style, and ability to adjust straps easily. Teva is my favorite brand -- I do a lot of walking, hiking, etc., and have a bum foot from a childhood car accident, so having a brand to count on matters. The soles of this sandal, weirdly, cause some discomfort. They have microgrooves, which cause unexpected tenderness after a day. The durability of the material is also tbd, as I've gotten a couple of small nicks in the front toe bed already from chance encounters with rocks, roots, or my dog stepping on me. Normally, Teva really suits me, but the material and design of the sole itself is something product designers might reconsider.

They're SO comfortable!

I now have 3 pairs of these sandals. They're SO comfortable. I have a bunion and a hammer toe and walked all over Italy in them. They're adjustable and don't touch the hammer toe. Really love them!!!

I love the idea of recycling the old ones and not trashing them. The support is so great I do all my walking in them.
