This is my second pair of Tierras. Definitely one of the best sandals TEVA makes. I have owned 4 other styles and these are significantly higher quality. They are flexible and offer good support. The lower priced TEVA sandals are more rudimentary with thick, flat soles, I highly recommend spending the extra $ for the Tierras. The velcro straps allow you to adjust the fit anytime. The back strap is neoprene so it is soft and strong with a handy loop on the back. These sandals last a long time. I periodically wash them in the machine or in a bucket of soapy water. They dry quickly and look like new. I haven't had any problems with the strap material fraying and I wear these all the time, year round.
These sandals are great for general wear and walking (not for really long distances or serious hiking) and provide good traction. They are really helpful if you have foot or ankle pressure point issues because you can easily adjust the straps to accomodate and achieve comfort.

Shoe fits well and is great for walking. Does not need breaking in. Good service from Famous Footware.
My husband isn't happy with the style of these, but I love them. They are perfect for summer. You get the feeling of a sandal with the durability and comfort of a sneaker. I only replaced my Tevas Id had for 13 years because I lost one. I'm hoping these last long.
