First of all, this is a really nice sandal that I wished I could keep. Feels strange that so many people are able to wear these but they didn't work for me. I have a wide foot so could appreciate the adjustable straps at the toes and there was no problem there. The issue is that the back of the sandal was too tight on my ankle to be comfortable and it didn't matter if I adjusted the strap. Maybe they would fit better if I ordered the next size, but I didn't want to take the time and energy to reorder. I'm sure if you have a "normal" foot you will love these although I couldn't wear them for any length of time to give it a true test.

I bought a pair of tierra sandals somewhere around seven years ago and have worn them nigh-daily for at least five. Only now, after constant use for half a decade have they started to fall apart--and I am getting another pair to replace them! Granted, I do city walking, but they have held up with little visible wear. The straps made them very easy to adjust to my odd foot shape, keeping me comfortable in a way literally no other shoe I've owned does (hence why they are my daily shoes!) I also have high arches and have no complaints--only after walking a few hours in them do my feet start to feel the lack of sneakers. Overall, if you need a daily sandal and live in a warm climate, I highly recommend.
