Conspom poms get tangled & cause tripping, zippers don't work well
My daughter adored these boots and wore them all winter long. They were very cute, but just not practical. When she wore them in snow, slush or puddles, her feet would get wet. And for the first few days that she wore them, the pom poms would flop around and get tangled on each other when she ran. She tripped and fell a couple times before we realized that we could tuck those strings under the ones that were criss-crossed across the boots. So they didn't look as cute that way, but at least she stopped tripping over them. The other functional problem was that the zippers were extremely hard to get up and down. Even for me. She (at five years old) could almost never get them up or down herself. I always had to do it, and even then, she had to be standing in just the right position for them to work. And after a few weeks of daily use, two of the pom poms just fell apart.
I would not buy these again.
