Too Tight on the Top of the Foot

I wanted clogs without holes so that I wouldn't get wet in the garden. Years ago I had crocs that were too tight, so this time I ordered a size bigger. They're still too tight across the top of the foot & I have a terrible time getting them on. Not sure a different size would help.

I work in the restaurant industry and your feet get wet EVERY NIGHT when closing the kitchen. Other shoes would take forever to dry out and stink after they do. These are rubber so a little soap and water and you're ready for that morning shift after you just closed.

The inner sole is rough. Not very uncomfortable so I don't wear them.
