I am in my mid seventies and I need to feel safe in my shoes. I have never really cared for slides because I always feel like they could come flying off my feet and become a tripping hazard. Not so with these shoes. They come up high enough on my foot that I feel secure. They have yet to slip off. Plus they are really comfortable on the inside. I highly recommend them.
