I now own four pairs of these shoes. They are great for summer as an alternative to sandals. Easy to slip on and off, they look casual and summery with shorts, skirts, capris, or sun dresses. My black pair has gotten wet in the rain and the shoes recovered without any indication they were soaked. The shoes are well padded and are comfortable while walking on the hottest pavements or gravel paths.

I had bought one pair of these in Orange Stripe a few weeks ago. They were so comfortable and versatile that I bought two more pairs - one in Green Stripe the other in Linen. These are comfortable walking shoes or can be worn to dress up a summer outfit. Highly recommended.
