ConsChews Through Laces, Seam Split 1 Year, Wears Out Quickly
Aside from having to replace laces every month (tried all kinds of laces even kevlar ones the metal at the top of the boots cuts right through them slightly more than once a month). I really liked this boot until the seam split after 10 months on the left boot. After reading reviews seems like this is a common problem which has gone unresolved. With this kind of problem I can't recommend these boots as much as I would like to. My employer expects us to get at least 18 months out of our boots. These boots have been worn 5 days a week for 10 months and have not been used in harsh environments or anything as I am a maintenance worker at a college.

these are extremely comfortable boots but they just don't last. I've had 2 pairs and they both have the same flaw. After only a couple of months of wearing them the stitching starts to separate.
