This is a great boot that I have been buying for years. It has a steel tip, but is as light and flexible as a standard hiking boot.

These boots are very comfortable for steel toe (composite) shoe. I'm on my second pair. After aprox six months the boot seems to fail all at once from stiches to laces to eyelets and insoles. Only dis satisfing part is the longevity.

I purchased these without the steel toe option because I wanted something that wouldn't weigh my foot down, but give me the support that I needed for working and walking to and from the train every day. It's great in rainy and dry weather but not waterproof. I'm hopping it will go another year before I wear them out. I highly recommend for a work shoe that has a great casual and comfort feel.
