These shoes are rated to be insulated to 600volts .. These are electricians boots and are worth every penny. Especially when you accidentally grab an exposed cable carrying 240 amps and didn't get hit at all.. These boots are awesome and this page is underrating them.

If these were durable I would really love them for their comfort. But being that their poor durability leaves me unable to wear them at all, they get 1 star from me. Very disappointed. I have been wearing them for 3 months, approximately 11 hours per day, 5 days a week. I wear them standing in maufacturing and outdoors for 2 hours per workday. Nothing extremely strenuous or dirty, the only element they have encountered is rain. Both shoes have come apart at the seams in 5 places total. It's at the seam between the materials that line the sole and the materials that cover the top of the foot (see picture). The stitching has come apart so much it allows rain to get into the soft fabric lining the inside of my shoe, and it leaves my feet wet. The rubber covering the toes has also started breaking off at the stitching.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He wears them about 4 days a week in the office and other half doing HVAC. It's only February and one of the boots has already blown open 4 inches along the main leather stitched seam on the outer side. These were not cheap. I'm going to pursue an exchange or refund.

These were great work boots. I wore them for a little over two months. The eyelet broke and I threw them away. Could not lace them up to fit.
