They are very comfy and live the cushion they provide. They are my motorhome slip ons...easy to put on and take off at the door. They do run large...at least 1 full size. The only way I can really keep them from rubbing the sides of my foot or my toes from sliding into the toecap is to wear them with socks. If I had it to do it over, I'd go down a full size from the size 11 I wear in every other major brand. Hence, the 4 rating.
