not what I expected
PostedAugust 5, 2016
I was really looking forward to these shoes for nursing school. I've worn crocs before and I loved them. The back of the heel is so low it feels like your feet are constantly slipping out. It's very uncomfortable to walk like this and you feel unsteady. It's silly but if you aren't doing much walking the shoe is comfortable just like I think most croc shoes are but that's kind of pointless. I'm upset I can't return them now - I assume they will just gather dust in the closet - not sure what to do with them.

Awkward Little Clogs
PostedAugust 4, 2016
The Neria Work shoe is cushy and light as advertised. They provide comfort when I'm standing in place while prepping recipes (I work in a kitchen, standing about 8hrs a day) for a long time. Also, the arch has a slight incline which I feel helps me keep a straighter posture than with my previous work shoes that were completely flat. However, these shoes walk like flip flops, as in, the top opening is very wide and when I walk my heels slip out, which makes for an awkward lift and drag progression. I don't even try to scuttle quickly through the kitchen with these in fear that I might one day trip and face plant. Also, because the shoes don't have straps to hold onto like a flip flop I feel at the end of the day my toes are tired from trying to grip to keep them on my feet. I haven't found another pair of shoes that I'm crazy about and I'm willing to work with these, but I probably wouldn't buy them again. I wish the front lip of the shoe would end a little higher or closer to the rise of the top of my foot (I can fit a finger between the top of my foot and the shoe and that seems like too much space.) I generally wear a size 10 and have purchased in size 10. The length feels true to size, but they run wide.
