I bought these for my husband, who stands behind a parts counter in a motorcycle dealership for 10 hour days a year ago. He previously thought that sneakers would be the best shoes to wear and continued to complain of leg and foot pain for years. Until he wore these. He was SO delighted with them that other men he work with also got some. I am now ordering him a second pair. The sole is still perfect; no wear at all after a year's use. The inside lining has a small area where it pilled from socks at the heel. On the left shoe the front "bumper" that rolls up has separated a little bit from the leather. He tells me that he kneels on that foot and that happens to most of his boots too. So for us its a non-issue. As his wife, I'm so happy that he is finally in a good quality work shoe made for men who are on their feet all day. That's why I'm buying him a second pair. Highly recommend them.
