I always keep 2 pair of new Sketchers Premium in my closet for back-up; the leather/synthetic uppers..Sport.. were bought specifically for a trip to London...I anticipate damp conditions and have found them to be satisfactorily waterproof.

As much as I love this particular style of shoe for everyday wear, I do wish it were made in an extra-extra wide. If someone weren't barefoot as much as I am, I'm sure they would see this shoe width as perfect.
