I am and avid long distance runner and originally bought these shoes because I was tired of burning up so called "high end" motion control running shoes. I was under the impression that the Skechers Nuovo appeared to be just a stylish motion control shoe in appearence only (man was I wrong!!). So I bought them on a whim, and to my surpise the Nuovos not only offer as good if not better support and motion control than the high end, name brand running shoes , but they do it at 1/3 the price!! At first my fellow runners kind of chuckled and winked at me, but I convinced them otherwise and now they're buying them. I like them so much I went and bought three more pairs (13 wide). I love the fit, comfort, and durability. I will continue to buy these and recomend them. I only hope that Sketchers does not discontinue making this great shoe.

I am a long time Skechers buyer. I have several kinds of shoes, from tennies to walking shoes to hiking boots. All are comfortable. This is the first pair I bought without trying on, online. I was surprisingly disappointed at how stiff they feel. I hope that they wear in, but I tend to avoid wearing them, choosing instead a well worn pair of Skechers that they were supposed to replace.
