Great boots, very comfortable and warm. Make sure you size up if you want to wear winter wool socks however.

I bought this boot for a trip to the Arctic Circle in December. Obviously, I needed something warm and with good grip and comfortable enough to wear for very long periods. I tried other boots before I found this one. My complaint with the others was based on comfort. These boots are super squishy inside, so they are excellent for long periods of standing. And they are warm....a lot. I put them on in March (got them on sale) and wore them around the house for about 3 hours. Literally, my generally cold feet felt as though they were on fire after 3 hours (no socks). I read other reviews that said socks weren't necessary. While I will be wearing socks in the Arctic, I won't need them for regular old winter snow at home. I LOVE them overall. I agree that you have to buy based on if you are a sock person or not. I went up a half size and they fit fine without socks, but I will only be able to wear thin socks on the trip. And that's fine since the boot wont' feel clunky this way. Also, they are cute. Super cute in the winter white. Other reviewers complained about the fact that the boots weren't pure white, but even the site says winter white, which is a totally different color than just white, so I got what I expected. I haven't been on my trip yet, so I can't say much about how waterproof they are, but comfort, price and warmth are all what I need. My only concern is how hot my feet were after only a few hours. I don't know that I will be able to wear them inside in the winter at all. I plan on wearing them when it snows, but if I am shopping, I don't know that they will be comfy inside since they are so warm.

Great product, affordable price

I was looking for a boot for campus wear. One that could keep the feet warm and dry during the Michigan winters yet comfortable during class. They haven't been worn much this year so I can't comment on durability but this boot is great...not bulky but warm. I did listen to earlier comments and ordered one size up and they fit perfect.

GREAT boot. These have got to be the most comfortable, waterproof, warm lightweight boot out there. I am in MN where it is cold and icy. I walk daily in these and am convinced I should start running in them next winter, that is how well they fit and feel. One pair of socks does the trick; my feet and calves stay perfectly warm and dry. Other reviews are correct, they run slightly small. I am going to pick up another pair in another color. So glad that I live near an outlet store!
