I've been wearing Ryka running shoes for years...but I'm not even a runner. The simple truth is that this brand has an exceptional fit. In their performance running line, the toe box is roomy, so my bunions are comfortable, while the laces adjust to fit the rest of my narrow foot, and the heel cup actually nicely cups my heel. Beyond that, the materials breathe exceptionally well, the footbed is able to keep me comfortably on my feet for the entire day, including an 8 hour hospital shift. I've even started ordering online since their sizes are consistently dependable. Plus my podiatrist put this brand on his short list that he recommended to me to wear all the time, not just when exercising...but I was already sold on Ryka!
