Prosmid-rise
Consneed a little less "breathability", need sturdier material on top
I usually wear black or grey shoes but like a white shoe with some color for the summer and this shoe fits the bill. I teach multi-level studio class and need arch support and this shoe provides that. I also like a mid-rise shoe for ankle support and they're hard to find which is another reason I chose this shoe. I would note that Ryka can run true to size but if you're in between, go with a half size bigger. The only things I would change: 1) I prefer a shoe that feels a little sturdier in material (they hold up better) and 2) the shoe is a bit overpriced. But, overall, I'm very happy with my choice.

I'd worn out my black mid and decided to get the other color. I ordered the same size but felt that the new pair was a bit roomy at the front. I just added inserts a new pair of colored shoelaces to liven things up. Love this style! I hope you'll make more colorful mids in the future.
