These were recommended by my water aerobics instructor. They are perfect for water aerobics. Light-weight, comfortable and great support for water aerobics

Ryka Aqua Fit 4

I used a previous model (Ryka Hydrofit) for pool jogging for several years and was very happy with the fit and comfort. The new model Aqua Fit 4 looks good but has several design flaws: 1. The laces and the tongue are short. It is difficult to put the shoes on. 2. The tongue has a thick edge that presses on the top of my foot. 3. The most significant problem is that the shoes have less forefoot cushioning, and I developed pain in the metatarsal area because I am pushing off the bottom of the pool to jog. I am unable to use the Aqua Fit 4. Interestingly, when I switched back to a worn pair of the previous model, my pain disappeared. I am now looking into other brands. Hopefully, Ryka will take in consideration these issues and improve their next model.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS AQUA WATER SHOE

This water shoe is inferior to your previous water shoe. It is not made as well. The tongue does not lie straight. The laces and buckle are made cheaply. I have been wearing your water shoes for years and am disappointed in your changes.

I couldn't even test the shoes in the water because the lace system made it impossible to get them on (even with dry feet).
