"As an avid New Balance fan, I was excited to buy my 8 year old her first pair of New Balances. Unfortunately, they are not the same quality as the adult versions. Within one month of purchase, the stitching on the toes on both shoes came loose and left loose strings hanging out everywhere. Soon after, the tongue on one of the shoes completely detached. I was disappointed to have spent money on a shoe that didn't last one month. These are cheap and poorly constructed."

Cons: fell apart
