"I have worn NB 609 for years. They are comfortable for every day 14 hours plus a day. NB is the only athletic shoe that offers 4EEEE size and that is why I originally started wearing them 20 years ago and been happy feet ever since. I do buy better insoles for extra support but they are awesome. I am very pleased they came out with more color options. I can now wear my 609 in a more formal setting without looking like i just stepped off the track."

"I chose this shoe because I like the colors used on the shoe. I especially like that the sides of the sole are a taupe color, rather than white. The shoe will look good with jeans, as well as with khaki pants. The inside of the shoe has very comfortable padding around the heal, and the arch support is good. I was happy that this shoe was available in wide width."

"I just ordered my second pair of NB 609's. These shoes are VERY comfortable, and they lasted for several years, which I rarely get from running shoes. Unfortunately, they run QUITE large. I had a half size larger on my previous pair, but this time I had to return them for a full size larger. The good news is that my local store was very cooperative in taking the return and reordering the larger size with no additional shipping charge. Great customer service. I will buy again from Famous Footwear!!"

"Very fine shoe. My first NB and I like the look and the fit. I wear them with jeans, shorts or slacks. Very comfortable, wear for hours at a time. I like buying on line for famous footwear. I can always depend on the fit being right. Delivery is fine, gets here quick enough.I do recomend this site to everyone. I dont think you can beat it. For my shoes I come to Famous Footwear on line.
