"These shoes were purchased for my 11 yr old son who loves to skateboard. First, they are DC shoes. Second, they are sleek, lightweight, and have the grippy soles. Third, they look sick (which is a good thing!) Love the look of the all black! So many shoes have the white soles and it can just wreck the look of a shoe because the white gets dirty so fast and it breaks up the clean color line. My son says these are perfect for skateboarding, but I say they also look nice with his school uniform. Not sure about durability yet because he just got them yesterday, but they seem to be well made and a good quality shoe. He is very rough on shoes which is why I like to shop at Famous Footwear for him. Great prices and name brand shoes."
