"I saw these boots on my hairdresser and had to have them. I couldn't believe Famous Footwear still had my size. When I received I wore them all day at work and they were very comfortable not to mention very stylish. Would definitely recommend these boots!!!!!"

"The material is better in person! I tried on a 7.5 -- I normally wear a 7.5 (8 sometimes). These boots fit perfectly, they feel GREAT!! They are nice and snug around leg/knee. I am 5'8 and they come up to the middle of my knee cap. Great with leggings, skinny or stretch jeans!"

"I am an average build woman and bought this shoe in a size 7.5 black color. I was unsure if I wanted such a tall boot, but liked the look on other ladies. Well, after getting this lovely pair in the mail let me tell you, these boots are perfect! I am 5'6" and the top hits me square on the knee. It's not so tall that it sits straight up above my knee when I sit down which I have seen happen with other boots on other women. To me that seems like a pain if you don't want to roll the top down, and it also looks weird. But you can roll these down if you want, and they lay flat which is a plus and the look is still great. These were comfortable enough for me to wear all day chasing my two kids around, and my feet were still comfortable. I agree with others that the boots are slimming, and as for remarks on that they mark up easily I have not experienced that problem yet. I live on a small farm and have cleaned them up a few times after wearing them out to feed the animals (not as work boots, I just happened to have them on), and they always looked fine after. The material is more matte so sure it may show dirt more easily, but it's an easy clean. If you are on the fence, I really don't think you will regret this purchase."

"Ordered these boots on line and the fit is superb. I have a narrow foot and these boots fit well. The calf is wide enough to wear any jeans underneath and yet not too wide for leggins or tights. Carlos' design team is right on!"

"I needed a good quality pair of flat black boots to replace the cheap ones I always bought that ripped or broke somehow. This boot was on a great sale and I had a coupon which made it all even better. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. I like that I can wear these in wet weather without them ruining, but these are not good to walk in snow in. There's no grip and I slid around a lot in them. But, style and quality are great and because they're really knee length, I fold them down sometimes to change up the style depending on my outfit. They fit my feet perfectly and I like the short zipper by the inside ankle which makes them easier to put on and take off. Recommend!!"
