"Although recently purchased, the shoe appears to be of good quality materials and well made. I have had lower back problems and always look for a shoe with a substantial and well padded sole with good grip on snowy surfaces. More inexpensive shoes have soles that harden when cold and create a slippery step....these do not."

I was looking for a nice casual shoe to wear for motorcycle rides and this fits the bill nicely.
The finish on these shoes does not scuff when shifting the bike, so they stay looking nice."

"The Tom Cat is exactly what I was looking for ... ALMOST. When I opened the box, I was so disappointed to see that the shoes were OILED LEATHER. Nowhere in the catalog description was this mentioned. I expected "normal" leather that I could spitshine to the high gloss that would make any marine proud but instead I have shoes that look more like work boots. Sooo disappointed"
