"Purchased these boots just 6 months ago and after only wearing them a dozen times I noticed that the entire heel on the right shoe has fallen apart literally. The bottom of the heel has not worn through at all but rather the side of the heel has come apart leaving me with no support and an embarrassing piece of plastic material flapping around. Super disappointed after paying full-price!"

"I had bought the brown pair of Bare Traps boots the year before and I loved them so much I wanted the black pair this year. They were a bit different in style, but not much. This year's style are tighter and the cuff at the top is not as snug. They still fit well. The problem I have with these boots is they scuffed on the toes within a few times of wearing them. For the price, even though they are not real leather, they should have held up way longer than that."
Cons: scuffs easily

"These boots are very comfortable and breath well. They keep my feet extremely warm, but not sweaty warm. I bought a 1/2 size bigger so they allow me to wear my fluffy winter socks with no problem. You can wear them with most anything. I have received many compliments. They are leather, so they are very durable as well."

"These boots are very narrow, even for my already-narrow feet! I can hardly wear regular, thin socks. A half-size up (I'm a 5 and 1/2) would have helped that, I think. I also don't like the way the elastic is sewn into the back; it makes it stick out a bit on the bottom of the gore. I do love the style of the boots overall and they are breaking in well, though, so I will be keeping them. The compliments help, too!"

"I feel that these boots have some really great features! I love the rugged non slip sole. Living in snow country it helps to have some traction. I found that they are extremely warm and a great length to wear with skirts and leggings. They are very comfortable and true to size. I thought that they were going to be real leather when I bought them but they aren't. They still look really cute and seem well made. I also love how easy they are to pull on and off."

"These boots were absolutely awful. I've only had them for around 4 months and they're completely trash. The soles began ripping out only two months after I had them. The metal in the sole unattached itself and fell out, which then made the boots very uncomfortable to wear. I bought them for the price, but it looks like I'll just have to spend some more money on some actually decent boots."

"These are a great color that you can wear with black and brown and they are very comfortable. The little elastic and foldover top makes them cute but stretchy enough if you have a fuller calf. I'm typically a seven and these run true to size."
