"We have bought several pairs of this shoe as my little man's feet grow. They are a great fit and he loves the colors. The only issue he has with them is that he has to constantly re-do the velcro because the loosen up. Regardless, we will likely purchase again."

"My two boys love the style and convenience of the sketchers z-band velcro sneakers. They fit them well (they both have small feet for their age, and narrow-medium, not wide feet). These adjust well and stay on. This particular shoe seems just slightly wider than others, the strap doesn't tighten down quite as much, but it still fits well. My 10 year loves orange right now, and these bright orange accent colors are perfect. He loves the shoe. Shoe is average weight, not one of the newer very light weight versions. It's a sturdy shoe. The boys have been wearing various sketchers of this type for about 5 years now, and they hold up well for the 2 or so seasons, maybe 3/4 of a year that the boys are in that size. Shoe is still in good (decent, wearable, but showing wear on the sole and inside) shape when we pass it on. We've never had a shoe separate, holes in the upper or sole. I have active boys who put their shoes to the test."

"I have bought Sketchers for my boys for years because they're sturdy, well made shoes that look good for several months. But, for whatever reason, this time around my son has been complaining that the arch supports are in a strange place and cause him some discomfort when worn for several hours.
For anybody thinking of purchasing this product, I would suggest finding a store near your home that carries them, and have your kid try them on before getting them."

"I was looking for a properly priced gift for a pair of brothers our work group is sponsoring for the holidays - these sneakers were a great value and priced right for holiday giving. The were upbeat, great color, easy on/off as tested by a nephew and in his words "real cool!". I could have gotten no-names for this price, but I wanted quality, shopped hard, and Famous Footwear made it easy all the way around. Next time, I START here!"
