"I purchased these to wear to work daily, and found them to be much nicer, and a little more dressy than expected. I do wear these to work, and I also wear them out to professional functions, with suits, etc. They are very comfortable, and I have gotten a number of complements on the style. An excellent choice; I would definitely purchase these again."

"If you are looking for a pair of dress shoes that can be worn at a client meeting or on a Friday at the office, then look no further.
These look way more expensive than the price you'll pay. It has a semi-high gloss to the leather front. The soles don't clack on hard floors and it doesn't kill your heels.
Overall excellent purchase."

"My husband has a really hard time finding any type of dress shoe that is comfortable. Florsheim is the only brand he will wear. He loves the styles and is very greatful for the 3E sizes."

"This is only my second day wearing these shoes, but they are more comfortable than yesterday. I don't typically wear very formal dress shoes, so this could be normal. There's a bit of a shine to them, but it's nothing like patent leather. Again, I've recently purchased these so I can't speak to the long-term wear.
That said, these are the nicest looking shoes for the price (even not on sale) and other reviews gave me the impression these are built to last!"

"Based on the others' reviews that this was an easy-to-break-in shoe, and the reputation of Florsheim, I thought this was the perfect shoe. Instead, it is the most painful shoe I've ever had. Blisters on both heels, pain across the instep and squeezed in the toes."

"Was buying a diffrent brand and the manufacturer quit making them. It took a 2 hour trip to the mall to find these. I wore them an entire day out making sales calls the first day I wore them. No break in problems at all. I particularly like the composite material the sole is made from. It feels like leather insofar as stiffness, but is not slick and seems to wear like hard rubber...[which does not feel good on the foot as it is not stiff enough]. I liked this shoe so much I immediatly ordered 2 more pairs over the internet."
