"I was looking for a boot that would be warm, stylish and practical. These boots are very soft, warm and comfortable but don't wear them in the snow. The fur front where it laces up is not attached to the sides of the boot to make it weatherproof. If you step in snow above your ankles you will get snow in your boot."

"I bought them based on other people's review. Sporto's boots are really really warm, you can ware them during really cold winter, and not feel any coldness. Also, the style is excellent. it feels soft, and comfortable to wear. the only thing i'm not happy about is that it's a slightly narrow, and when i walked for a long time, i may feel uncomfortable. but overall, they are great."

"These boots are so warm and comfortable to walk in! I was a bit concerned when I ordered them because I have very large calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit properly. But these fit perfectly! The lacing allows me to make them as tight or as loose as I want so I can always find that perfect comfort!"

"I am a huge fan of Sporto's winter boots. One year my car stalled and I was stuck on the road in 20 degree weather for over an hour. I was not properly dressed for the cold weather, but I was wearing my Sporto boots and they kept me warm as ever. They are always super warm, comfortable, and easy to walk in. Even these, with a heel height that is a little more than I normally choose for tackling the brutal and icy Midwest winters, are still perfect. The fact that they are waterproof makes them easy to wear out in the snow no matter how long I will be out walking the dog, playing with my daughter, or whatever. They look great with jeans too. The ankle is a little large for a boot that ties (no doubt Franco Sarto or Carlos Santana would have considered this - even with a zip-up boot), but it's no different from the average slip-on winter boot. For this light color, waterproofing spray is a must. My last pair were winter white, and they lasted three full winters through the snow and muddy defrost without getting dirty because of the Famous Footwear spray. Overall, I love these boots and would recommend them."
