"I am a 37 year old female and these are the only shoes I wear! I developed plantar fasciitis a couple years ago and have to wear custom orthotics. I hated the look of the "old lady" shoes the high end shoe stores tried to sell me. I had a lot of trouble finding shoes wide enough to put my orthotics in, but these are perfect! I have been wearing them for almost 2 years. I typically get a new pair about every 4 months. I think they last pretty good considering I wear them every single day and I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts. If I didn't have "special needs feet", I'm sure I could get more use out of each pair. I think the styling is pretty unisex and I don't feel like people know I'm wearing little boys' shoes!"

"But my son somehow ripped a hold in the side of them on the asphalt playground at school. He plays hard and the last 2 mesh shoes haven't lasted long. I was disappointed that I paid as much as I did and now they're no good."

"My son won't wear anything but this shoe. It's so comfortable he can't stand other running shoes. It holds up fairly well, esp. since he is changing sizes quickly. It is supportive enough for his slightly flat feet. It has a room toe box. He has normal width feet, but loves the comfort of the extra width (and it's not too wide). It's more affordable than many similar quality running shoes."

"I bought this sneaker for my 8 Ur old son. He's pretty tough on his shoes so I wanted to Get a good brand. The price was good and I like that its a wider shoe. My son is a big kid so the extra width makes it a comfortable fit"

"I keep ordering these shoes for my very active 10 yr old. They fit great, are durable, "cool' (he says :)) and last for a couple of months until he is ready for the next, new pair. Highly recommended!"

"New balance are great shoes for kids with wide feet. It's the only shoe that fits and lasts. I've found other brands that are wide enough but the quality of the shoes have been very poor. Nothing has held up as well."

"This shoe is great for boys who want a sneaker that feels like a slipper. My son (age 7) is very picky with stiff shoes. He doesn't understand that you sometimes need to break in a shoe for a day or two. These need no breaking in; they are comfortable right away. The only reason I gave 4 stars for performance is that the sole is coming apart a bit soon in my opinion. That didn't stop me from buying another pair thought. They're still good shoes with a good price."

"This is our third pair of these shoes. My son loves them. They look great and fit his flat, wide foot very well. No problems with them. They wear very well. He is very rough on his shoes and these shoes last the school year. That says a lot for a pair of shoes."
