I ordered this shoe in a size 13.5 My son wears a 12.5. I bought them a size bigger because reviews state they run small. He couldn't get the shoe on to even determine if the length was acceptable. I'm noticing this a lot with the shoes that don't have the elastic laces. They also have an elastic band inside which makes it impossible to get the shoe on. We returned them.

Ordered normal size for my son in these, and we had to wrestle with them to get them on. Not good for a 5 year old. I would say to order a size larger than you think you need, as they run small and narrow.
