"I have owned multiple pair of Timberland boots with no problems. I wore these to work which is how I normaly break in a new pair of walking shoes. By the end of the day I had blisters on the outside (not the back) ot both heels. The shoes appear to be constructed so the upper part of the shoe is angled inward rather than sitting straight up on the soles. I will probalbly wear them at times when I know I won't be walking which is counter to why I purchased them."
Pros: Good traction
Cons: Chafes

"These shoes felt a bit strange on my feet. Felt a little like the shoes were tilted inward and not parallel to the ground. Also the insert liner does not provide very much cushion. I ended up returning them."

"These Timberlands are good looking (better than the picture, actually) comfortable, light, and very well made. I got them for travel, as they are so versatile. They go well with jeans, khakis or shorts. Great value, especially with a discount and a second pair half off. They seem to run a little small in width however. I usually wear a 91/2 and these were too narrow; had to return them and get a ten for the extra width. It could just be my feet, though. If you don't have narrow feet I'd recommend getting a half size larger than usual, and if at all possible try on a pair before buying."

"This is my second pair of Timberlands from Famous Footwear. I have been very pleased with both purchases due to the quality and comfort of the shoes. The soles are very durable, and the shoe is extremely comfortable. They seem to be stitched in all of the right places and are very quiet when walking in them. I use them for work and would recommend them to anyone."

"Boy oh boy, just some features I didn't expect with these shoes, first off, they have Vibram soles. For anyone that's been in the military knows that Vibram means quality. Sturdy, durable, I'm sure these shoes will be long lasting. But that's not all, there's also the comfort factor. I forgot I was wearing them the other day when I went out, that's the sign of a good shoe. You know it's good when you go out and you realize that you forgot to change your shoes. That's how good these shoes feel, and fit. Durable? Well, only time will tell, but once I looked at these shoes I noticed the construction and the quality. These shoes might last a while. Now to just take them hiking and see how they work in action."
