"I bought these for warm weather walking. I wear leather NB's in the winter. I had Planter Fasciitis a few years back and need to wear good supporting shoes with my own insert. I haven't found a shoe yet that comes with a good supporting insert and this shoe is no exception. I've tried other brand named shoes and NB fit my feet best. My only complaint with this style is the tongue. It sticks out at the ankle. Not cut to the curve like other NB shoes. The quality seems a bit cheaper too, like many things these days. I haven't worn these on a long walk yet but I expect them to be good enough. I was also attracted to these shoes because they did NOT have all the bright colors that seem to be popular now. The fact that a portion of the cost goes to charity is nice but didn't really affect my purchase decision."

Cons: No Arch Support

"I had a bone spur removed and the joint infused with a titanium plate. After surgery, I couldn't wear most of my shoes. I bought these in a wide width. They are fabulous! I have extra toe room, they look good enough to wear to work, and they are very comfortable. I love the connection to Susan G Komen."

"This shoe is immediately comfortable like wearing slippers. The downside is that the amount of cushioning in the forefoot could be better. I can tell when standing or walking alot they are not as good as others and will break down more quickly. I do like that they support breast cancer since I have just been diagnosed with it."

"I have had 4 pair of New Balance 615 walking sneakers since 2 years ago. I walk about 4-5 miles a day and have to say they are very comfortable. I wear orthotics and just slide them inside the sneaker. They accomodate the orthotics well besides giving me that extra comfort all around. I would highly recommend them!"

"I bought this same shoe a second time. I walk a lot and go through 3 - 4 pairs of walking shoes a year. I really liked the style, comfort, support, light weight, and breathable fabric of this shoe. After wearing my first pair a few weeks, I ordered another pair to have when the first pair wears out. I sometimes wear arch supports with walking shoes but have not needed them with these."

"I recently purchased a pair of New Balance WW 615's. I went to my Famous Footwear store, however they didn't have my size so I ordered a pair online. I was really excited about the shoes at first as they were pink, (my favorite color) and then they had pink ribbons on them for Susan G. Komen. I am a breast cancer survivor and particpate in breast cancer walks and purchase breast cancer merchandise anytime that I can. I tried them on right away when they were delivered to our home and was really disappointed. The mesh on the shoes was very stiff and uncomfortable. I walked around the house wearing them for awhile and decided that I had to return them as they were very uncomfortable. Sorry, about this review but I believe in being honest with you to be of assistance. I believe it would be a great shoe if they made some modifications with the mesh and materials of the shoe."
Pros: Durable, nice looking shoe., benefits breast cancer.
Cons: Not Breathable, very uncomfortable., rough mesh on shoe.
