"The shoes are solid and comfortable . . . when you finally get the tongue in place. The leather used for the tongue of the shoe is weak. The only way I can get the tongue in place so that it doesn't hurt the top of my foot is to use pliers to pull it back from where folds accordion style towards the front of the shoe. You read that right. I use a pair of pliars on the leather tongue. (Specifically, a set of needlenose pliars.) In short, my advice is: DON'T BUY THEM!"

Cons: extremely difficult to put on

"These shoes fit great, especially since they offer a wide width. Plenty of cushion in the heel. Probably the only con is that there isn't much cushion for the ball of the foot."

"I thought I ordered these shoes in extra wide, but the shoes I received were not extra wide. My husband took them back to our local Famous Footwear with no problem. He actually found a pair at the store that fit nicely and that he really liked.

"These shoes have a very nice look and feel to them. they are a dark brown, so avoid them if you are looking for a light colored brown shoe. They have a higher arch, which will take some getting used to, but after 1 day of use, they felt very comfortable."
