"I bought the BearPaw version as a cost savings effort for my 10 year old since she would outgrow them. She loves them but we needed to insert an orthotic because there is no support and complained that her ankles hurt. The upper has last well over the one year that she wore them. However, the soles wore through on both heels (yes holes) in no time.
This was also true on the women's size Bearpaws that my 13 year old owned over the same period. My middle daughter went 50/50 with me on the authentic version (not allowed to name). She wears them just as often as my other daughters but they have shown NO wear on the soles."

"Loved these boots since they were made with real materials, not man made materials. They are very good quality and very cute! My 3 year old daughter wanted disney boots but I choose these instead since they were made with higher quality materials. She loves these boots. They are so comfy for her. "This is the 4th pair of these I have ordered for my son in as many years. He loves them and would wear them every day if I let him. The first 3 were almost exactly them same, this pair however is more narrow, which isnt bad for him. The big problem I see with this pair is the sole, it is definitely a lesser quality and since it was the part that wore out first in the other pairs I see it barely making it through the season."
