"These sandals are durable and comfortable. My feet are hard to fit in a Teva or other outdoor sandal , as I have flat feet and most styles use built up arches that are much too high for flat footed and very uncomfortable. I took me years of trying on Teva's and similar products until I came across a style that would be a pleasure to wear all day. When a find the Teva Katavi at I good price , I buy multiple pairs. This may seem a little OCD, but I don't want to spend my whole life in shoe stores trying to find a comfortable fit. Need a new pair, just grab it out of the closet. They look great with slacks for informal & a jacket for informal dress up during the warm weather.. I've done extensive hiking with these sandals, they are rock steady in the back country and on rocky terrain. Famous Footwear are great to deal with.

"I was looking for a comfortable sandal. I like a sandal that stays securely on my feet during amusement park rides and won't come off my foot if I run across the sand. Comfortable, well made and attractive. Although, I wish there were more color choices."

"I am an American but I live in Brazil. It is very hot all year where we live so I live in sandals. I ordered two pair for my wife to bring back to me when she visited the U.S. and they are great. I find myself walking in water often here and sometimes other sandals would smell bad but these don't. They feel great and with the stap against the sole I don't get nearly as many pebbles under my feet. The only draw back to them is that they are very slick on tile and we have a lot of that here. Water and tile or oil and tile are bad combinations for this sandal but most people reading this will not have this problem. If you buy them you will enjoy them. Promise!"
