    "I bought a pair of these shoes just over a year a go, and started wearing them about 8-9 months ago. The seams started ripping out after 4 months of wear.
    I will not buy a pair of Hi-tec shoes again.
    I will go back to New Balance shoes that I have used before, besides New Balance shoes were cheeper.    "

    "I purchased these shoes for my son-in-law who was previously wearing shoes full of cracks and holes, and the shoestrings were broken. He fit right into these and likes them alot. They are a nice color; like the removable liners."

    These are brutal. The sole is made of a harder material than other shoes I own. It is also very thin forward of the arch so you feel everything you walk on, even small pieces of gravel. If you are looking to purchase a good pair of shoelaces, buy these shoes.    "

    Too Hard on the Feet

    "I was attracted more to the price of the shoe than the shoe itself and found them too sneaker-like for my liking once they arrived. The shoes seemed especially stiff and I did not like the fact there was no ankle support...which I knew from the beginning. I thought I'd like them more "in person", such was not the case. I loved the Hi-Techs I purchased previously, so I was a little disappointed to not love these as well. But I would recommend Hi-Tech....usually a very good boot."
