"Needed a steel toe boot. Tried a few on in stores but found the steel toe uncomfortable. Ordered this on on-line, and it was much more comfortable than the ones I had tried on in the store. Took one star off for the mild discomfort of the steel toe (could feel the edge of it). The boot appeared well made - but my need for a steel toe disappeared, so I returned the boots. The next time I need a new pair of hiking boots, I'll take a look at these (they come with or without a steel toe), sans the steel toe."

"This is a great boot, especially for the price. I've bought more expensive work boots before, but they did not hold up like these do. I bought my first pair of these 3 years ago, and finally had to replace them recently. So, I stuck with what I knew worked & bought another pair just like the old ones. So glad they had the exact same style. I fully recommend these to anyone. One last thing, these boots aren't heavy like many of the steel toe boots are. They are very comfortable."

"I bought this as a summer boot. I work with farm equipment and needed something a little lighter than my insulated Wolverine boots. These are pretty comfortable from the beginning and have been holding up really well. The mesh pockets keep my feet cool as well, which was the purpose of these boots! Would recommend!"

"I needed a new pair of steel toe boots for wood cutting/splitting, but I also use my boots for yard work and hiking. My wife got these for me for Fathers day and I am exctied about them. They fit comfortable, don't rub on the calf and are not too heavy. So far, they have remained comfortable after wearing them for a while and I like the tread and flexibility of the sole for varied terrain. I have seen other reviews about quality so I am hoping to get some good years of hard work out of them."

"I really didn't need steel toes (or don't expect to), but Wolverine's rep, other reviews and the price sold me on these--and I wasn't disappointed. The boots are really solid yet as light and comfortable as advertised. I haven't been on the roof yet to test out the slip resistance, but with fall coming in the Northeast, I'll be cleaning leaves and such up there soon..."
