"I've bought these for years. You can plan on them lasting years. The ones just before these have been worn all year long, in the lake water, through snow (when going out 'just for a minute" or to the neghbors, withe socks, of course! The only reason I got new ones, the previous ones looked like the soles were wearing from the way I walk."

"I have worn these sandals every day, summer and winter (with socks) for four years... since I had a severe lumbar disk issue. They can be casual dress shoes, slippers, and wonderful walking shoes... that do not mind getting wet (they dry quickly). I have actually worn the shoe for 15 years but only full time after I retired. I buy two pairs every 12-18 months - save one for future months, wear one AND put the old pair in the garage for earthy work.
What a "thumbs up." !!"

"This is my second pair of Birkenstocks -- my first pair was the "Gizeh" style in Mocha. I decided to opt for a different color and style this time ("Arizona" in Stone), and I was not disappointed. Birkenstocks are so supportive, well-designed, and classic; I actually can't imagine finding a more satisfying shoe. Although they are pricier than most sandals, they are extremely comfortable. I wear these all day, and my feet don't get sore.
With regards to this particular style, I found it to be timeless rather than trendy. if you're looking for something that is more hip, go with the "Gizeh". I'm a young woman, and although some people may find the "Arizona" to be for older demographics, I like the style. It is versatile and simple, while also being very comfortable for your feet and legs. I think they are the perfect casual shoe to wear every day, and heck I wear these out at night as well! The style is simple enough to go with jeans, shorts, and summer dresses. I've subbed out sneakers for these babies as well.
If you're thinking about getting them but are iffy on the price, trust me -- you won't regret it. Once you go Birkenstock, you'll never go back!"
